Dynamic Sprites: A very underrated one, crazy note: probably 90% or more of snes games are not possible without this tech. Low Pol 3D: Not a lot to say, basically Starfox or Doom, it is the most impressive tech but also requires extra hardware and is a very primitive 3D, still some of the most crazy things that you can do on SNES. A lot of SNES games are based in this trick. Mode HDMA: Do you like mode 7 but you still want to use layer 2 or 3? Well this is the best thing you can do, This allows to have 1 mode per scanline, this is used for example by Mario kart to use Mode 7 for FG and mode 0 or 1 for BG. No very basic techs like "Scroll layer" or "Load level graphics to VRAM" ![]() No Special Chips: because i think chips should have thir own tier list.
